once nomadic shepherds of Aldgoats, Ashan's branch of the N' tribe long ago traded in their felt yurts to settle permanently in Gyr Abania. While tending much smaller flocks now, they remain regionally famous for cosmetics and skincare goods, often made with the nutrient-rich milk of their generations prized and bred aldgoats.Members of the tribe now identify their totem as the Gyr Abanian gazelle, a fiercer relative to the aldgoats the N' take their name after. In addition to typical Seeker tattoos, they add an array of stripes to their features in homage to their adopted totem.Their trading repute is only rivaled by their arts name. Considering dance an essential part of social life, cultural heritage, and worship of Azeyma, this N' tribe teaches all its members from a young age the complicated, dexterous steps of their many dances.The N' were once paid handsomely by Ala Mhigan and Ul'dah nobles and royalty to perform the most elaborate of their dances at festivals and celebratory events: a complicated art of plumed, golden bladed fans, considered amongst the tribe a divine inspiration from Azeyma in both style and motif. Translated as the "Kindling Score," Anthropologists have once compared the art to the Thavnarian Kriegstanz - although no one has seen it performed publicly or with spectacle since the rise (and fall) of the Mad King.Retreating to the most isolated crags of Gyr Abania during Garlean occupation, the N' tribe attempted to shrink their profile as much as possible while covertly supporting the more combative M' tribe with supplies. They have only recently begun peddling and performing again with the stabilizing of newly-freed Ala Mhigo.
